Climate justice

Rwizi-network strengthens capacity of member CSOs to integrate climate change issues in their programming and to regard climate change as an ethical and political issue rather than one that is purely environmental or physical in nature.

This program struggles to secure justice for those people vulnerable to the impact of environmental degradation and climate change who are usually forgotten including the poor, disempowered and marginalised across rwizi region

Climate justice program is executed through advocacy, partnership and shared engagement for all. We also facilitate action to empower the poorest people and local governments in their efforts to achieve sustainable and people-centred development
