Rwizi-network enhances capacity of CSOs in the region to promote, protect and monitor Human rights. CSOs and human rights defenders face a number of challenges here in Ankole region and Uganda in general. Among the challenges there is of lack coordination among CSOs, limited knowledge of the law, lack of a referral system in seeking redress to human rights violations, abuses intimidation, insufficient resources to follow up cases, disrespect from state agents due to limited knowledge on CSO mandate in promoting human.
